The Joyful Stitchers of the First Baptist Church of Alabaster, 903 3rd Avenue Northwest, are busy getting ready for Christmas. For the next three months their goal will be to finish as many walker bags, adult bibs, quilts and dolls as possible. These items will be shared with nursing homes, Save-A-Life and other charities or individuals as possible. Needed are persons to cut out simple patterns, sew on buttons or stuff dolls.
