Two Thompson Middle School students are performing in local area holiday performances. Seventh grade student Kasey Walker recently did two performances in “The Chocolate Nutcracker” at the Boutwell Auditorium on Nov. 12. Walker had multiple roles in the performances, dancing as a toy, a spider and an African dancer. She dances at the Corky Bell Dance studio in Alabaster.  She has studied dance for 11 years.
Another seventh grader at Thompson Middle, Sadie Stanfield, danced in “The Nutcracker,” Dec. 18 at Pelham High School.
Stanfield danced the lead in the ballet. Sadie is a member of the Alabama Youth Ballet, and has been dancing for 11 years.
