The Wilsonville Fire Department, Southeast Shelby Rescue, Shelby County Sheriff’s Office and Alabama Highway Patrol responded to the scene, according to Wilsonville Fire Chief Davy Edwards.
Traffic was diverted around the crash for about an hour as emergency workers removed Ross from the vehicle, Edwards said.
Trooper Doug Jackson investigated the accident.
