Boy Scout leader stepping down
Published 4:14pm Tuesday, February 22, 2011Alex Brumfield, who is stepping down after leading the First Baptist Church of Pelham Boy Scout Troop 404 for three years, is transferring to a location in Georgia for work. The troop presented Brumfield with a plaque and a framed portrait for its appreciation of his dedication and countless hours of service. The photo was taken during the troop’s recent Court of Honor ceremony.
