Mr. and Mrs. Timothy E. Parker of Winterboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Christine Denise Parker, to William Drake Roberts, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Morrell Roberts, Jr. of Sylacauga.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Carter of Winterboro and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Parker of Talladega.

She is a graduate of Birmingham Southern College 2008 class and employed by UAB in Birmingham.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mrs. Nancy Trimmier English and the late Mr. Clyde Eugene English of Sylacauga and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Morrell Roberts of Sylacauga. He is a graduate of Birmingham Southern College and is employed by Columbiana United Methodist Church in Columbiana.

The wedding is planned for July 9, 2011 at Vision Point in Sylacauga.
