Published 1:05pm Monday, October 3, 2011Montevallo Elementary School observed the 10th anniversary of 9/11 by hearing military affiliates share their recollections about that day during a program on Sept. 9, 2011. The guests were Quincy Whitehead, director of the Alabama National Cemetery, Donnie Sisk, assistant director of the Alabama National Cemetery, and Herman Watkins, program specialist at the Alabama National Cemetery.
