HOOVER – Hoover police arrested two men and a juvenile boy Nov. 29, after authorities say the trio was caught breaking into a house.

A woman called Hoover 911 just before 3 p.m. and said three people were breaking into her residence on Crossvine Road in Riverchase, according to a Hoover police news release.

“Officers were on the scene almost immediately, and following a foot chase, arrested the three suspects,” the release stated.

Arrested were Kevin Davis, 23, of Hoover; Christopher Sean Cody, 21, of Homewood; and a juvenile male from Birmingham.

Davis and Cody were charged with second-degree burglary and are being held on bonds of $30,000 each. They are awaiting transport to the Shelby County Jail, the release stated.

The juvenile male was also charged with second-degree burglary, as well as possession of burglary tools. He was transported to the Shelby County Detention Center.

“It is very important to note that the victim called the police very quickly,” the news release stated. “This allowed for a rapid response by officers.”
