The following are incident and offense reports from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office Jan. 5-19:

 

Jan. 5

-Property damage from the 7100 block of Highway 47, Shelby (Residence/Home) Damaged was a red 2007 Toyota Corolla.

-Sex Abuse from the 100 block of Chesser Drive, Chelsea (Government/Public building).

 

Jan. 6

-Burglary from Winding Stair Trail, Leeds (Residence/Home) Stolen were 10 boxes filled with miscellaneous items, three oak tables, four oak ladder back chairs, one rocking chair and multiple miscellaneous wooden chairs.

-Burglary from the 800 block of Highway 17, Montevallo (Residence/Home) Stolen was one Maytag glasstop stove valued at $100, two Vanguard heaters valued at $300, one microwave valued at $50, one metal kitchen sink valued at $15, one Whirlpool dryer valued at $150 and one baker’s rack valued at $30.

-Burglary from Taylor Way, Helena (Residence/Home) Stolen were two Terru Redlin prints valued at $1,500, one Hank Williams print signed valued at $300, one Matthews MQI bow valued at $750, two Stihl chainsaws valued at $600, one Circle Y horse saddle valued at $1,000 one Brahma saddle valued at $250 and one Parker double barrel shotgun 12-gauge valued at $300.

-Burglary from the 4000 block of Cord 49, Columbiana (Residence/Home) Stolen was one Springfield 1911 .45 ACP with green box valued at $585 and change in a Crown Royal bag valued at $200.

-Burglary from the 4000 block of Cord 49, Columbiana (Residence/Home)  Stolen was $10 in change in a Crown Royal bag, one necklace and ring valued at $20.

-Theft of property from U.S. 280 and Highway 119 at Shell gas station (Service/Gas Station) Stolen was a check for $7,500 and a check for $2,500.

-Theft of property from the 200 block of Shaw Valley Road, Chelsea (Residence/Home) Stolen was one Dell desktop computer valued at $250, one Sony desktop computer valued at $300, one Gateway desktop computer valued at $200, one Hewitt-Packard desktop computer valued at $600 and one Dell laptop computer valued at $500.

-Theft of property from the 200 block of Starboard Drive, Shelby (Residence/Home) Stolen was one 2003 white Ford F-350 of unknown value.

-Forgery II from the 6600 block of Walt Drive, Birmingham (Commercial) Stolen were four checks valued at $1,476.96.

-Fraudulent use of a credit card from the Foothills Parkway, Chelsea. Stolen was one check card valued at $222.94.

 

Jan. 7

-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance and driving under the influence from the 7600 block of Highway 119, Alabaster (Highway/Street). Recovered were three grams of Oxycodone in a prescription bottle.

-Criminal mischief of 100 block of Chelsea Corners,  Chelsea (Parking lot/Garage) Damaged was the left rear tire for a 1993 Chevrolet pick-up truck valued at $180, one scratched paint on drivers side door valued at $200 and one scratched paint on cab of drivers side valued at $200.

 

Jan. 8

-Property damage from the 12000 block of Highway 280, Chelsea (Highway/Street) Damaged was one 2000 Dodge Neon.

-Property damage from the 10000 block of County Highway 47, Chelsea (Highway/Street) Damaged was the front bumper and quarter panel of a Lexus RX 400 H valued at $550.

-Burglary from the 1600 block of Middle Street, Montevallo (Residence/Home) Damaged was a wooden glass door that was forced out valued at $100, stolen was one Westinghouse Flatscreen TV LCD of unknown value, one XBOX Pro with cables valued at $200, one XBOX with cable and controller valued at $200, four XBOX controllers valued at $379 and one Turtle Beaches headset valued at $80.

-Theft of property from the 0 block of Monte Verde  Lane, Montevallo (Residence/Home) Stolen was one yellow, white and blue swing set valued at $200, one basketball goal with large base valued at $300 and one plastic jungle gym valued at $200.

-Unauthorized use of vehicle and theft of property from the 1200 block of Weatherby Cove, Birmingham (Residence/Home) Stolen was one Smith and Wesson 642 revolver valued at $425.

-Theft of property from the 1000 block of Fairbanks Lane, Chelsea (Residence/Home) Stolen was one white gold and diamond wedding ring set valued at $5,000.

 

Jan. 9

-Domestic violence III from the 0 block of Ruby Drive, Columbiana (Residence/Home).

-Domestic violence, assault from the 0 block of Ruby Drive, Columbiana (Residence/Home).

-Property damage from Highway 280 at Highland Lakes Drive, Birmingham (Highway/Street) Damaged was one 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe.

-Harassing communications from the 700 block of Queen Drive, Columbiana (Residence/Home).

-Runaway from the 0 block of AL Youth Home Drive, Harpersville (Other/Unkown).

-Assault from the 5400 block of Caldwell Mill Road (School/College).

-Disorderly conduct from the 5400 block of Caldwell Mill Road (School/College).

 

Jan. 10

-Domestic violence and Criminal mischief from the 8000 block of Old Highway 280, Chelsea (Residence/Home) Damaged was one wooden computer desk valued at $300, one black desktop computer valued at $100, door frame ripped off the wall, bedroom mirror, Toshiba TV valued at $200 and a hole knocked in the bedroom wall.

-Domestic violence, harassment from the parking lot of Sonic restaurant on Highway 280, Chelsea (Restaurant).

-Missing person from the 500 block of Valleybrook Circle, Birmingham (Residence/Home).

-Miscellaneous information from the Robinson Preserve Park, Bradenton, Fla. (Other/Unknown).

-Miscellaneous from the 100 block of Dewberry Lane, Maylene (Residence/Home).

-Duty to stop and remain on scene from the 100 block of Key Drive, Birmingham (Highway/Street) Damaged was the drivers side paint of unknown value.

-Assault and criminal trespassing from the 100 block of Cambrian Way (Residence/Home).

-Harassment from Highway 26 on school bus, Columbiana (Other/Unknown).

-Domestic violence from the 200 block of Heather Lane, Columbiana (Residence/Home).

-Domestic violence, assault from the 4000 block of Highway 47, Shelby (Residence/Home). Damaged was one bedroom window valued at $100.

-Death investigation from the 5000 block of Old Dunnavant Road, Birmingham (Residence/Home).

-Domestic violence III  and harassing communications from the 2200 block of Heatherbrook Road, Birmingham (Residence/Home).

-Criminal mischief from the 100 block of Pleasant Place, Bessemer (Residence/ Home) Damaged was one windshield of a 2003 Chevy Silverado valued at $200.

-Harassing communications from the 3800 block of Bent River Road, Birmingham (Residence/Home).

-Civil dispute and interferance with child custody from the 1600 block of Highway 280, Chelsea (Parking lot/Garage).

-Fraudulent use of debit/credit card from Best Buy, Oxford (Department store) Stolen was a pre-authorized check valued at $2,709.

-Criminal mischief from Chelsea Recreational Park on Highway 39, Chelsea (Other/Unknown) Damaged was one trash can lid, asphalt and grass.

-Interference with custody from the 2100 block of Highway 56.

-Miscellaneous information from the 2100 block of First Avenue, Alabaster (Residence/Home).

-Harassment from the 100 block of Edy Lane, Shelby (Residence/Home)

-Theft of property from the  11000 block of Highway 17, Montevallo (Residence/Home) Stolen was one Nokis flip cell phone valued at $350.

-Theft of property from the 11000 block of Highway 17, Montevallo (Residence/Home) Stolen was one black Android valued at $198.

-Miscellaneous information from the 4800 block of Bear Creek Road, Sterrett (Residence/Home).

-Property damage from the 4000 block of Highway 13, Helena (Highway/Street) Damaged was one 1993 Nissan Pathfinder of unknown value.

-Miscellaneous information from the 4000 block of Highway 13, Helena (Highway/Street) Damaged was one .40 cal round of ammo.

-Suicide attempt from the 400 block of Cross Creek Drive, Sterrett (Residence/Home).

-Property damage from the 400 block of East Inverness Parkway, Birmingham (Highway/Street) Damaged was one four-door white Ford Taurus.

-Property damage from Highway 280 between Publix and Chelsea Park, Chelsea (Highway/Street) Damaged was one windshield of a 1996 Jeep Cherokee valued at $200.

-Property damage from the 8100 block of Old Highway 280, Chelsea (Highway/Street) Damaged was the driver side door, left headlight, front bumper and front quarter panel of a 2005 Nissan Sentra valued at $650.

-Criminal mischief and Harassment from Soccer Blast (Other/Unknown) Damaged was the drivers side door and front passenger door of a 2002 Kia Spectra GSX.

-Domestic violence, harassment from Chickering Circle, Birmingham (Restaurant).

-Unauthorized use of a vehicle from the 100 block of Vick Drive, Wilsonville (Residence/Home).

-Willful violation of a protection from abuse order from the 2000 block of Eagle Valley Drive, Birmingham (Residence/Home).

-Harrassing communications from the 7400 block of Highway 61, Wilsonville (Residence/Home).

-Fraudulent use of debit/credit card from the Apple online store (Other/Unknown) Stolen was one debit card valued at $550.38.

-Criminal mischief from the 700 block of Highway 54, Montevallo (Residence/Home) Damaged was one 2001 Honda Accord with paint scratches and mirror broken of unknown value.

-Unauthorized use of a vehicle from the 1900 block of Inverness Lane (Residence/Home) Stolen was one 2008 Chevrolet Silverado valued at $20,000.

-Property damage from County Road 41 near Shoal Creek, Birmingham (Highway/Street) Damaged was a 2011 Nissan Altima of unknown value.

-Theft of property from the 2300 block of Highway 25, Wilton (Commercial) Stolen was one air compressor, one Miller welder, numerous hand tools and 100 gallon square-foot diesel fuel tank.

-Death investigation from the 300 block of Highway 408, Shelby (Residence/Home).

-Criminal mischief III from the 300 block of Alexander Road, Leeds (Residence/Home) Damaged was one 1992 Camaro of unknown value.
