The Hope Christian School boys’ basketball team edged Georgia/Alabama Christian School 55-52 in an Alabama Christian Sports contest Jan. 28.

Brandon Fuller led the Eagles (6-12) with 16 points in the victory.

Immanuel Drew added 15 points and a team-high 15 rebounds to finish with a double-double.

Pete Thomason and Seth Burnham also contributed double-doubles. Thomason finished with 11 points and 13 rebounds, while Burnham added 10 points and 11 boards.

Caleb Booker chipped in two points and three rebounds in the victory. Benjamin Bunn grabbed seven rebounds, while Cameron Costa finished with three boards.

GIRLS

The Hope Christian School girls’ basketball team defeated Georgia/Alabama Christian School 37-2 in an Alabama Christian Sports Conference contest Jan. 28.

Joelle Reed led the Eagles (9-7) with eight points in the victory. Reed also grabbed five rebounds.

Lindy Walker and Leigh Wilson Legg added six points each. Karlee Tate chipped in five points.

Brooke Machen and Davina Drew contributed four points each. Erin Douglas, who grabbed a team-high eight rebounds, and Christina Jones finished with two points each.

Rachel Rettig and Rachel Holmes added three rebounds each, while Anna-Kathryn Littleton finished with two boards and one assist.
