The Kingwood Christian School girls’ basketball team fell to Lee-Scott Academy 62-13 in an Alabama Independent Schools Association Class 3A Elite Eight contest Feb. 10 on the Huntingdon College campus in Montgomery.

Madelyn Pearce led the Lions (8-16) with six points. Pearce also grabbed five rebounds and finished with two steals.

Katie Etheridge added four points, six rebounds and three blocked shots. Casey Whitmer chipped in three points and a team-high 11 rebounds to go along with five steals and two blocked shots.

Kenzie Greer finished with five steals and two rebounds. Blair Holsombeck contributed four assists, three rebounds and two steals. Karley Chamblee finished with one rebound and two steals.
