The Kingwood Christian School boys’ tennis team fell to Tuscaloosa Academy 8-0 in high school tennis action Feb. 27.

Luke Edge of Kingwood Christian fell to Mason Lake of Tuscaloosa Academy 8-0 in the No. 1 singles’ match. Micah Davis of Kingwood Christian fell to Weston Hamiter of Tuscaloosa Academy 8-0 in the No. 2 singles’ match.

Caleb Burton of Kingwood Christian fell to Grant McAllister of Tuscaloosa Academy 8-0 in the No. 3 singles’ match. Drew Smith of Kingwood Christian fell to Wood Howell of Tuscaloosa Academy 8-1 in the No. 4 singles’ match.

Nathan Wills of Kingwood Christian fell to Davis Fernandez of Tuscaloosa Academy 8-0 in the No. 5 singles’ match. Drew Smith of Kingwood Christian fell to Blake Wright of Tuscaloosa Academy 8-1 in the No. 6 singles’ match.

Edge and Davis fell to Lake and Hamiter 8-2 in the No. 1 doubles’ match. Burton and McBride fell to McAllister and Howell 8-2 in the No. 2 doubles’ match.

GIRLS

Eillen Scott of Kingwood Christian fell to Maggie Whitson of Tuscaloosa Academy 8-0 in the No. 1 singles’ match. Sarah Salmon of Kingwood Christian fell to Natalie Arnold of Tuscaloosa Academy 8-0 in the No. 2 singles’ match.

Kenzie Greer of Kingwood Christian fell to Madison Elmore of Tuscaloosa Academy 8-0 in the No. 3 singles’ match. Grace Mills of Kingwood Christian fell to Lizzie Bonhaus of Tuscaloosa Academy 8-0 in the No. 4 singles’ match.

Jordan Stevens of Kingwood Christian fell to Abby Fleenor of Tuscaloosa Academy 8-0 in the No. 5 singles’ match. Stevens also fell to Virginia Adair of Tuscaloosa Academy 8-0 in the No. 6 singles’ match.

Scott and Greer fell to Arnold and Elmore 8-1 in the No. 1 doubles’ match. Salmon and Mills fell to Whitson and Bonhaus 8-0 in the No. 2 doubles’ match.
