What your story should have read, is that the lightning malfunction occured in july of last year after all star tournament, and the city has constantly dropped the ball on having the lights fixed, the mayor councilpersons the chairperson of parks and rec board and the town clerk, all have a different story about why and when they will get fixed, one story is that was supposedly gonna be fixed by last thursday for double header against winterboro which had to be cancelled, not fixed, then the story changed to this was the second time they was fixed, which was the lie the mayor and chairperson come up with, now the story is should be fixed this thursday, but town clerk says they dont know when the part is coming in,in the meantime our vincent dizzy dean can not practice at their scheduled practice times , no lights, our kids already 3 weeks behind the rest of the county, for lack of leadership amongst the board run by a man who umpires every game he can and mostly his own sons games, all the while supposedly running a 501c3 nonprofit organization, oh and when he is through upiring his games he installs him as a coach in the state tournament for his sons team, but all the while the city allows this,
