Calera tops Fultondale

The Calera High School softball team defeated Fultondale 15-4 in high school softball action March 8.

Kymber McGiboney and Anna Seabury led the Eagles with three hits, including a double each, in the victory. McGiboney also drove in three runs in the win.

Shelby Clark finished with two hits, including a double, and drove in two runs in the victory. Katie Eiland drove in two runs. Skyler Laird, Samantha Smith and Shelby Wright drove in one run each.

Eiland earned the win in the circle after striking out four batters in five innings.
