Lions defeat East Memorial

The Kingwood Christian School softball team defeated East Memorial Christian 14-5 in high school softball action March 12.

Madeline Lee led the Lions (10-1) as she went 2-for-4 at the plate with two homers. Lee drove in five runs in the victory.

Caroline Clark finished 3-for-5 at the plate with a double and drove in two runs. Kaylyn Ingram and Kendall Jonseof each finished 3-for-5 with two doubles and drove in one run each.

Lee earned the win in the circle after giving up five runs, including three earned runs, on five hits with eight strikeouts in four innings.

Blair Holsombeck allowed just one hit with three strikeouts and two walks in three innings in relief.
