Montevallo tops Greensboro

The Montevallo High School softball team defeated Greensboro 4-3 in eight innings in high school softball action March 27.

Megan Draper drove in the game-tying run with her RBI single before scoring the game-winning run on a wild pitch in the eighth inning.

McKenna Anderson and Meredith Goggins led the Bulldogs with two hits each in the victory.

Kaley Kornegay, who earned the win in the circle, finished with four strikeouts.
