Lions win three games in tournament

The Kingwood Christian School softball team won three games in the Macon East tournament March 31.

Madeline Lee homered in each of the Lions’ victories.

The Lions defeated Ashford Academy 4-2 in the tournament.

Lee blasted her 10th homer of the season in the victory. Kendall Joseof and Blair Holsombeck added one single each.

Kaylyn Ingram earned the win in the circle after giving up one hit in five innings.

Kingwood Christian defeated Clarke Prep 5-0 in the tournament.

Lee homered in the victory.

Ingram and Karley Chamblee added a double each. Holsombeck, Jonseof and Kaitlyn Elliott finished with one single each.

Lee earned the win after giving up just one hit with five strikeouts in the shutout.

Kingwood Christian defeated Crenshaw Christian 9-0 in the tournament.

Chamblee led the Lions offensively as she went 2-for-3 at the plate with a double.

Kaylee Morris finished 2-for-3 at the plate and drove in four runs. Caroline Clark finished 2-for-3 at the plate. Katie Fowler went 1-for-2 at the plate.

Lee blasted her 12th homer of the season in the victory.
