The Hope Christian School softball team split a doubleheader with the Tuscaloosa Home Educators in high school softball action April 12.
Hope Christian defeated T.H.E. 8-4 in the opener.
Amanda Rowley led the Eagles with two hits, including a double, in the victory.
Samantha Rowley, Lindy Walker, Abby Patton, Sarah Birdsong, Glennleigh Boyd, Kathleen Clark, Rachel Rettig and Claire Bartlett finished with one hit each.
Birdsong and Rettig drove in two runs each.
Walker, who earned the win in the circle, recorded seven strikeouts in the victory.
The Eagles fell to T.H.E. 15-4 in the nightcap.
Layla Skinner and Whitney Arnold led Hope Christian with one hit each. Arnold and Amanda Rowley drove in one run each.
