Lions top Morgan Academy

The Kingwood Christian School softball team defeated Morgan Academy 15-3 in high school softball action April 23.

Kendall Jonseof led the Lions offensively as she finished 4-for-5 at the plate. Jonseof also scored four runs in the victory.

Kaylyn Ingram finished 2-for-5 at the plate with a homer. Ingram drove in four runs and scored one run in the victory.

Kaylee Morris went 2-for-3 at the plate with a homer. Morris drove in four runs and scored one run in the win.

Caroline Clark, who drove in four runs and scored one run, finished 2-for-3 at the plate with a double. Karley Chamblee went 2-for-3 at the plate with a double and scored one run.

Ingram earned the win after giving up just one hit with two strikeouts in two innings in the circle.
