The following are incident and offense reports from municipal police departments from April 20-30:

 

Alabaster

 

April 23

-Unlawful breaking and entering a motor vehicle and theft of property from the 1400 block of Eighth Street Southwest (highway, street). Stolen were $80 in U.S. currency, a Regions checkbook with checks, a Wells Fargo checkbook with two checks, a black wallet with a Playboy logo in silver valued at $15, two Regions debit cards, a Wells Fargo debit card and a Blue Cross insurance card.

-Theft of property from the 100 block of Coral Circle (residence, home). Stolen was a woman’s pink and black 10-speed bicycle valued at $125.

-Information only from a private property accident (other, unknown).

-Unlawful breaking and entering a motor vehicle and theft of property from the 100 block of Grande Club Drive (residence, home). Stolen was a Nikon Coolpix camera valued at $235.

-Information from the 1100 block of Sixth Avenue Northwest (residence, home).

-Information from the 600 block of First Street South (school, college).

-Theft of property from 630 Colonial Promenade Parkway (specialty store). Stolen were miscellaneous DVDs.

-Information from Old Spanish Trail (residence, home).

-Theft of property from Interstate 65 South at the 238 mile marker (highway, street). Stolen was a 1998 Volvo S70 valued at $8,000.

-Domestic dispute from the 400 block of 12th Street Southwest (residence, home).

-Information only from the 1300 block of First Street North (convenience store).

 

April 24

-Domestic violence investigation and domestic violence – harassment from the 100 block of Creden Place (residence, home).

-Theft of property from the 600 block of Ninth Avenue Southwest (residence, home). Stolen was a residential mailbox and post in the amount of $75.

-Information only from the 900 block of Independence Drive (residence, home).

-Death investigation from the 600 block of Lacey Avenue (residence, home).

-Domestic dispute from the 200 block of Second Street Southwest (other, unknown).

-Burglary and theft of property from the 100 block of Hillside Drive (residence, home). Stolen were a black Mac Book computer valued at $1,500 and a Playstation 3 game console valued at $400.

-Harassing communications from the Pelham area (other, unknown).

-Animal complaint from the 100 block of Pebble Lane (residence, home).

 

April 25

-Animal complaint from the 100 block of Treymoor Drive (residence, home).

-Welfare check from the 2000 block of Windsor Court (residence, home).

-Unlawful possession of marijuana from Highway 31 at County Road 26 (parking lot, garage). Confiscated were .91 grams of marijuana.

-Criminal mischief from the Walmart parking lot (parking lot, garage). Damaged was a 2001 Chrysler 300 M in the amount of $1,000.

-Criminal mischief from the 600 block of 11th Avenue Southwest (school, college). Damaged was an interior door in the amount of $150.

-Violation of leash law from Grande View Circle (residence, home).

-Leash law violation and recovered dogs from Grand View Parkway (highway, street). Recovered was a large black dog with an orange collar valued at $1 and a small black and tan dog with a “Superman” collar valued at $1.

-Found property from Interstate 65 at the 238 mile marker (highway, street). Recovered were three business checks.

-Harassing communications from the 700 block of Sixth Avenue Southwest (residence, home).

-Theft of property from the 600 block of Olde Towne Lane (residence, home). Stolen was a Dell laptop computer valued at $1,200.

-Theft of property third degree from Dearing Downs Drive at Whirlaway Circle (highway, street). Stolen was a stop sign valued at $200.

-Driving under the influence from the Winn Dixie parking lot – restaurant).

April 24

-Fraudulent use of a credit or debit card from the 2000 block of Ashley Brook Way (residence, home). Forged was a Visa check card issued by Regions Bank in the amount of $232.

 

April 25

-Unauthorized use of a vehicle and theft of property third degree from the 1200 block of Southwind Drive (residence, home). Stolen was a Kodak easy share camera valued at $250.

-Harassment from McDonald’s (restaurant).

 

April 26

-Criminal mischief from the 1300 block of Hillsboro Parkway (construction). Damaged were a windshield on machinery in the amount of $200 and a cat walk handrail on machinery in the amount of $100.

 

April 27

-Warrant arrest – Hueytown from County Road 17 and Jet Pep (supermarket).

-Failure to appear from the Birmingham City Jail (jail, prison).

-Assault third degree from the 2100 block of First Avenue West (residence, home).

-Domestic incident and public intoxication from the 4000 block of Morningside Drive (residence, home). Recovered was a Ruger pistol valued at $350.

 

April 28

-Public intoxication from the McDonald’s parking lot (parking lot, garage).

-Burglary third degree and theft of lost property third degree from the 1600 block of Cunningham Drive (residence, home). Stolen was a small safe valued at $250 and damaged was an exterior door in the amount of $250.

-Identity theft from the 8200 block of Wynwood drive (residence, home). Forged were 10 electronic transactions in the amount of $1,200.

-Leaving the scene of an accident from South Shades Crest Road at Timber Lakes Drive (supermarket).

-Domestic violence third degree from the 100 block of Roy Court (residence, home).

 

April 29

-Domestic incident from the 8600 block of Shady Trail (residence, home).

-Domestic incident from Jackson Lane (residence, home).

-Failure to appear from River Road (highway, street).

April 24

-Theft of property III from the 900 block of Main Street (restaurant). Stolen was $242 in U.S. currency.

-Criminal mischief III and discharge firearm into an unoccupied dwelling or vehicle from the 200 block of Graham Street (other/unknown). Damaged was a passenger side window shattered by gunfire in the amount of $200.

-Possession of drug paraphernalia from Graham Street and Waller Street (highway/street). Recovered was a silver treasure chest containing marijuana residue valued at $5.

 

April 25

-Theft of property III from the 4000 block of Alabama 25 (supermarket). Stolen were six Nature Valley sweet and salty almond granola bars valued at $4.

-Theft of property III from the 900 block of Shelby County 10 (church). Stolen were Bryant heating and cooling AC units copper piping valued at $500.

uDomestic violence III and possession of drug paraphernalia from the 200 block of Skyview Drive (residence/home). Recovered were green leafy substance in plastic container valued at $100, three multicolored glass pipes valued at $50, digital scales valued at $20 and BG folding knife valued at $15.

-Driving under the influence – alcohol from the 7100 block of Shelby County 22 (highway/street).

-Assault I from the 200 block of Graham Street (parking lot/garage).

 

April 27

-Information on traffic accident from the 3700 block of Alabama 119 (highway/street). Damaged was a red Pontiac Grand Am in the amount of $1,500.

-Information only from the 400 block of Selma Road (residence/home). Damaged was a 2006 black Nissan Sentra in the amount of $2,500.

 

April 28

-Possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana II from Shelby Street and Oak Street (residence/home). Recovered were two marijuana wrapped in white paper inside Newport box valued at $15 and 1.5 rolling papers valued at $5.

 

April 30

-Burglary III and theft of property II from the 10 block of Jones Road (residence/home). Stolen were Acer laptop valued at $500, 32-inch Polaroid television value at $300, three cans of exterior house paint valued at $60, window AC unite valued at $50, Black and Decker cordless drill valued at $30, box containing miscellaneous tools valued at $20 and book of Regions Bank checks valued at $0.

-Assault III from the 100 block of Melton Street (residence/home).

-Harassment from the 100 block of Buckingham Circle (residence/home).

April 20

-Forged certificate of title from the Shelby County license office at 1018 County Services Drive (government, public building).

-Foreign felony arrest from Pelham Parkway south at Sonic Restaurant (highway, street).

-Outside agency assist – law enforcement from the Oak Mountain Lodge (hotel, motel).

-Theft of property – vehicle from the 2200 block of Pelham Parkway (parking lot, garage). Stolen was a 1995 Honda Civic valued at $1,000.

-Outside agency assist – law enforcement from the Store at 630 Cahaba Valley Road (parking lot, garage).

-Property damage – motor vehicle from 2500 Panther Circle (parking lot, garage). Damaged was a rear passenger side quarter panel.

 

April 24

-Outside agency assist – law enforcement from the Pelham City Court at 32 Philip Davis St. (other, unknown).

-Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle from the 100 block of Cove Lane (residence, home). Stolen were methadone valued at $56, assorted compact discs valued at $45 and assorted U.S. coins valued at $3.

-Theft of property from 2181 Pelham Parkway (supermarket). Stolen were a Blu Ray movie valued at $20 and lemonade valued at $1.

-Theft of property from Interstate 65 south between exit 247 and exit 242 (highway, street). Stolen were a 1998 Honda Civic, a wallet valued at $20, two prepaid credit cards, five Social Security cards and an Alabama driver’s license.

-Public intoxication from the 1000 block of Amphitheater Road (other, unknown).

-Theft of property from the 2200 block of Pelham Parkway (convenience store). Stolen was a Samsung Galaxy S cell phone valued at $280.

 

April 25

-License to carry a pistol in a vehicle or on person required and receiving stolen property from the parking of lot Wittichen Kitchen Supply (specialty store). Confiscated was a Smith and Wesson .357-magnum pistol valued at $2,000.

-Miscellaneous information from address unknown (other, unknown).

-Switched tag from Helena Road at Bearden Road (highway, street). Recovered was an Alabama license plate.

-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance from the parking lot of Urgent Care (parking lot, garage). Confiscated were a Walmart pharmacy prescription bottle, 3 grams of a white oblong tablet inscribed with M357 valued at $25 and 2 grams of a white oblong tablet inscribed with IP111 valued at $10.

-Miscellaneous information from an unknown location in Georgia (commercial).

-Civil dispute from the 3100 block of Pelham Parkway (specialty store). Reported was a 1792 penny.

 

April 26

-Death investigation from the 1700 block of Woodview Circle (residence, home).

-Miscellaneous information from the 1900 block of Chandalar Court (residence, home).

-Property damage – vehicle from the 1900 block of Chandalar Court (residence, home). Damaged was a 1998 Ford Windstar.

-Traffic offense – improper passing from Helena Road at Bearden Road (highway, street).

 

April 27

-Unlawful breaking and entering a motor vehicle from Mastec Wireless Services (other, unknown). Stolen were an orange toolbox with miscellaneous tools valued at $1,000, an aluminum toolbox with miscellaneous tools valued at $1,200, a red Huskie socket set valued at $100, a black Craftsman socket set valued at $200, a blue bag containing Ryobi batteries and impact tools valued at $400, a Cobra CB radio valued at $200 and a Kline bag with wrenches valued at $1,800.

 

April 29

-Disorderly conduct from Pelham Parkway at County Road 52 East (highway, street).

-Outside agency assist – law enforcement from the parking lot of Mi Pueblo Supermarket (parking lot, garage).

-Dog bite from the 100 block of Canyon Trail (residence, home).

-Miscellaneous information from the 3300 block of Pelham Parkway (service, gas station). Confiscated were a talking football player figure, a Sharp brand calculator, a Triplite amplifier, a metal clipboard, a Proctor Silex brand iron, a Pentax brand camera and two Spawn action figures.
