Calera Chamber to hold political forum

CALERA – The Calera Chamber of Commerce will host a political forum for all candidates running for election in the upcoming municipal election.

The forum will take place Aug. 14 at 7 p.m. at Calera High School.

Chamber President Bill Davis will serve as the forum moderator, and Chamber board members will be the timekeepers.

“Each candidate will be given 2-3 minutes to introduce himself/herself to the audience,” the press release stated. “Questions for candidates will be selected on a random basis, during the forum, from a selection of questions, provided by Calera residents before the forum.”
