Montevallo defeats Indian Springs, 3-1

After Indian Springs rallied from 10 points down to take the first set, the Montevallo volleyball team won the next three sets to take a 25-27, 25-13, 25-18, 25-13 Sept. 12.

McKenna Anderson scored a team-high 10 kills and 14 digs for Montevallo (10-2, 4-0) with senior Sarah Hyde adding nine kills and 15 digs to lead the Lady Bulldogs. Isabella Howell contributed a season-high 18 assists in the win.

Indian Springs (8-4, 1-2) senior Ambria Hardy tallied a team-high 10 kills with seven digs. Yuka Sanui accounted for eight assists and four digs.

Montevallo will return to action on Saturday at the Jemison Lady Panther Invitational when they face Calera at 9 a.m.
