Vestavia Hills defeats Pelham, 3-0

The Pelham High School volleyball team saw their seven-game winning streak snapped Sept. 13 in a 22-25, 19-25, 21-25 loss to Vestavia Hills in a non-area match.

Caitland Smith led the Panthers (7-9, 2-1) with eight kills and four blocks with Autumn Wild-Hiett adding four kills and a pair of aces.

Hayley Bristendine, Lauren Meadows, and Haeden Tucker each had 12 digs on defense.
