Linda Sue Nolen Walker of Alabaster passed away on Sept. 16, 2012, at home surrounded by family.

Born Feb. 20, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Judge Nolen and the late Ruby Lee Crutchfield Nolen. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Larry and Paul Nolen. Her survivors include her son, Jimmy Walters (Vanessa); daughter, Andrea Pitts (Randall); brother, Randy Nolen; sisters, Donna Cooper (Donnie) and Lisa Matson (Bruce); grandchildren, Madeline and Mitchell Bailey and Andrew and Audrey Walters.

Her family will receive friends at Charter Funeral Home on Sept. 19 from 10 a.m.-noon with a graveside service following at 12:30 p.m. at Shelby Memory Gardens in Calera. Online condolences may be made to the family at Charterfuneral.com. Arrangements are under the direction of Charter Funeral Home.
