Columbia linebacker and Spain Park graduate Zach Olinger was named the Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week announced on Monday, Sept. 17.

Olinger totaled 10 tackles (six solo) along with a forced fumble and a game-sealing interception in the fourth quarter of the Lions’ 10-9 win over Marist in their season opener.

The junior linebacker also recorded a sack and two tackles for loss.
