Wilsonville woman killed in crash

A Wilsonville woman was killed in a single-vehicle accident Sept. 30.

Catherine Vanderslice, 57, was driving a 2004 Nissan Pathfinder on Shelby County 55 when she wrecked about 5:28 p.m., according to a report from the Alabama Highway Patrol. The wreck occurred eight miles south of Chelsea, the report stated.

Vanderslice was transported to UAB Hospital.

The accident is still under investigation, according to the report.
