Westminster competes in Montgomery Academy Invitational

The Westminster Knights participated in the Montgomery Academy Cross Country Invitational on Sept. 29 held at Gateway Park in Montgomery, AL. A total of 25 teams from across the state participated in the event.

The Westminster girl’s varsity team placed fifth overall in the 5K event, with Maddie Hoaglund (9th) and Morgan Reynolds (24th) both finishing in the top-25.

The Westminster boys’ Jr. High team took 2nd place with Scott Landers (4th), Will Green (6th), Clay Smith (13th), Cole Callahan (18th), Alex Poore (19th) and Jonah Sellers (20th) all finishing in the top-20. For the Jr. High girl’s 3200m race, the girls took 3rd place, with Olivia Brookins (3rd), Rachel Faulk (7th), Anna Rebekah Richburg (10th), Sara Hinton (13th), Macy Ray (17th), and Gracie Eddins (18th) completing top-20 finishes for the Knights.
