HOOVER — The city of Hoover will host its annual Hoover Hayride and Family Night Oct. 27 at Veterans Park on Valleydale Road.

The free event, which is the city’s annual Halloween celebration, will be from 5-8 p.m.

The event includes hayrides around the park, candy provided by Hoover Area Chamber of Commerce members and food vendors. This year, new attractions include magicians, face painting and balloon artists.

Parking is at Spain Park High School, with shuttles provided to the park.
