Indian Springs wins SMCS tournament

The Indian Springs boys basketball team won the first annual John Allen Thanksgiving Tournament with a 38-24 victory over host Shades Mountain Christian Nov. 20.

Kenechi Ijemere led Indian Springs with 14 points and six rebounds. Stephen Himic added 11 points in the championship win.

Reeves Duggan was named tournament MVP while Himic was selected to the all-tournament team.
