Magdalene McGee Lawley

Vandiver

Magdalene McGee Lawley, age 63 of Vandiver, passed away on Nov. 29, 2012, at her residence. She was born in Bibb County on Feb. 26, 1949, the daughter of the late Clyde McGee and the late Mable Lee Smith McGee. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by husband, Joe Lawley of Vandiver; daughter, Donna Bailey (Brian) of Pell City; son, Wayne Lawley (Angela) of Vandiver; granddaughters, Emily Danzy, Mille Bailey, Megan Lawley, Tessa Bailey and Aubrey Bailey; sisters, Mary Frith (Buddy), Martha Lawley, Margaret McGee and Judy Jacks (James Carl), all of Jemison; brothers, Frank McGee of Jemison, Tommy McGee (Lou) of Tuscaloosa, Eddie McGee (Jeannie) of Jemison, Leonard (Betty Sue) McGee of Briarfield and Ricky McGee (Debbie) of Randolph; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services were held on Dec. 1 at 2 p.m. from the Randolph Baptist Church.

Visitation was from 11 a.m. until service time at the church.

Burial followed in the Randolph Baptist Cemetery in Randolph.
