Westover Christmas Parade kicks off Dec. 8

WESTOVER -The City of Westover Christmas Parade will be Saturday, Dec. 8 at 10 a.m.

Westover’s own Niva Dorough, Ms. Alabama Senior will be the parade’s grand marshal.

Parade staging being at 8 a.m. on Shelby County 51. Shelby County 51 will be one way, so participants should enter from Shelby County 55 and Shelby County 51 North. No traffic will be allowed through.

Spectators are encouraged to park along Old Highway 280 between Shelby County 51 and Shelby County 55 to watch the parade.

The parade will followed the same route as last year down Old Highway 280.

Free food and entertainment will be available at the end of the parade at the intersection of Old Highway 280 and Shelby County 55. For more information, visit Westoveralabama.org/?page_id=496.
