The Thompson Lady Warriors opened Class 6A, Area 7 play with a 63-33 home victory over Wetumpka Dec. 6.

Kat Cingoranelli led Thompson with 18 points while going 5-for-5 from the free throw line. Kiarra Pettway added 13 points and Janese Richardson finished with 8 points.
