COLUMBIANA – Columbiana area children have an opportunity to have their pictures made with Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus at the Columbiana Public Library for free on Saturday, Dec. 15 from 10 a.m.-noon.

This event is for area residents. Bring along your camera and create some holiday memories this year with Santa and Mrs. Claus. There will be coloring pages and special surprise activities brought by Mrs. Claus, herself.

“Please come and see us at the library and visit with Santa,” said Columbiana Public Library Director Dutcha Lawson.

Other upcoming holiday opportunities at the library include the Cookie and Recipe Swap to be held on Dec. 17 at 1 p.m. Bring along your two dozen cookies and the recipe to swap and share with your fellow locals.

Finally, do not miss out on the library’s Christmas Craft, Cookies and Cocoa event, to be held on Dec. 22. Stop by throughout the day to partake in a festive craft accompanied by cookies and cocoa.

For event information or hours, contact the library at 669-5812. Library is located at 50 Lester St., Columbiana.
