Calera downs Jemison

The Calera Lady Eagles opened Class 4A, Area 7 play with a 53-27 win over rival Jemison Dec. 11.
The Lady Eagles jumped out to a 16-7 lead in the first quarter and didn’t score under 10 points in any quarter.
A’Kia Harris led Calera with 16 points while Keyanna Gayden added 12 points. Tyesha Haynes scored 10 points for the Lady Eagles.
