Kingwood falls to ECA

The Kingwood Christian Lady Lions were unable to recover from a low-scoring second quarter to fall at home to Evangel Christian Academy of Montgomery 57-40 Dec. 13.

Kingwood took a 12-11 lead in the first quarter, but scored six points in the second to fall behind 25-20 at the half.

Katie Allen Etheridge led Kingwood with 12 points, eight rebounds and a steal. Taylor White added nine points, eight rebounds and two steals.

ECA’s Taylor McNeil led all scorers with 18 points.
