Walter Ingram, age 74, of Calera, passed away Dec. 11, 2012, in Alabaster.

Walter was a member of Calera Baptist Church. He was a plumber for over 50 years and also an Army veteran. He loved fishing, Alabama football and being with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Porter and Wright Ingram.

Walter is survived by his wife, Betty Ingram; daughter, Amanda Howard (Donnie); stepdaughters, Kathryn Lopresti and Margaret Bradley; son, Brian Ingram (Kim); stepson, Colyn Bradley; sisters, Jerri Graves, Colleen Mitchell, Ann Armstrong, Peggy Busby, Nancy Owens and Linda Grant; grandchildren, Schylar, Logan and Elizabeth Ingram and Jordan, Emily and Madelynn Howard; and step-grandchildren; Lauren and Leah Lopresti and Eric Bradley.

Visitation was held Dec. 13 from 6-8 p.m. at Calera Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held Dec. 14 at 2 p.m. with Dr. Hal Warren and Bro. Tom Minor officiating. Burial will follow at Shelby Memory Gardens.
