The Coosa Valley Lady Rebels held Bessemer Academy to just 14 points in the first half to take a 56-36 win Jan. 8.

Coosa Valley executed the full-court press to perfection in the first quarter to take a 22-8 lead out of the gate and never looked back.

Danielle Richardson set the pace for the Lady Rebels with 21 points and 10 steals in a double-double performance. Kaylan Rich also had a double-double effort with 20 points and 12 rebounds along with five assists. Terry Sprayberry had eight points and eight rebounds.
