Evangel Family edges Hope Christian

The Hope Christian Lady Eagles made a late comeback in the fourth quarter, but it wasn’t enough to top Evangel Family Christian in a 37-35 loss Jan. 8.

After taking a 4-point lead in the first quarter, the Lady Eagles trailed 18-16 at the half. EFCA extended their lead to three after the third, but Hope Christian scored a game-high 13 points in the fourth but it wasn’t enough to claim the win.

Karlee Tate led Hope Christian with nine points. Erin Douglas posted a team-high 14 rebounds with six points.
