James Terry Mathews, age 62, of Pelham, passed away on Jan. 9, 2013. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Jan. 12, 2013, at Elmwood Chapel. Bolton Funeral Home is directing. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be Jan. 11 from 5-7 p.m. at Elmwood Chapel.

Mr. Mathews is preceded in death by his father, Jim Mathews. He is survived by his wife, Sharon H. Mathews; daughter, Wendy M. Mathews; stepsons, Jeff Coats and James P. Coats; granddaughter, Crystal Mathews; four step-grandchildren; two step-great- grandchildren; mother, Betty Mathews Reese (Freeman); brother, Randy Mathews (Teresa); and numerous other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
