The Evangel Christian Lightning defeated First Assembly Christian 58-40 Jan. 15.
The Lightning defense forced 16 turnovers in the first half to take a 33-14 lead at the half.
Judson Motes led Evangel (7-3) with 14 points. Josh Letson scored 13 points and Grayson Melick added 11 points.
