Storm Spotter class set for Jan. 31

HOOVER — Shelby County Emergency Management will host a Storm Spotter class Jan. 31 at the Hoover Public Safety Center.

The class will begin at 6 p.m. and will show participants how to identify weather hazards and protect loved ones during severe weather.

The class is free to the public and will last about two hours. No registration is required.

The Hoover Public Safety Center is located at 2020 Valleydale Road.
