No. 7 Coosa Valley falls to No. 1 Glenwood

The No. 7 ranked Coosa Valley Lady Rebels were unable to complete a fourth-quarter comeback in a 51-46 loss to No. 1 Glenwood Jan. 22.

Coosa Valley cut a 15-point halftime deficit to 13 in the third and scored a game-high 19 points in the fourth quarter.

Danielle Richardson led Coosa Valley with 20 points, six steals and five assists. Kaylan Rich scored 19 points and 12 rebounds in a double-double performance.

Coosa Valley will travel to Autauga in a battle for the area championship.
