Margie Knox Brown, age 88, of Auburn, passed away Jan. 24, 2013, at EMAC Bethany House.

Visitation will be held at Curtis and Son, Childersburg Chapel, on Jan. 26 from 9:30-11 a.m. with funeral services immediately following at 11 a.m. The Rev. Neal Schooley will be officiating the services. Burial will be in Vincent Cemetery.

She is survived by daughter, Sarah Calvert of Locust Fork; brother, Herman Sherrill of Childersburg; sister Glennie Knox Masters (Mrs. J. B. Masters) of Vincent; sister-in-law, Sara Nell Knox of Clanton; granddaughter, Candy Polizos Masters of Auburn; three great-grandchildren, Sarah Kate, William and James Masters; and one great-great-grandchild, Avery Peters.

Margie was an Alabama Bonsai officer, member of Agape Sunday School class and a member of Dawson Memorial Baptist Church in Homewood.
