Jags defeat Sparkman

The Spain Park Jaguars took the lead in the third, then held Sparkman to just three runs in the last four innings to take a 17-7 victory Feb. 18.
Sparkman took a 4-3 lead into the third before the Jags (2-0) scored three runs in the third to take a 6-4 advantage. Spain Park added 11 runs over the next four innings, including eight in the seventh inning to claim the win.
Grant Veteto led Spain Park with a 4-for-4 performance at the plate with a home run and two RBIs. Tyler Wise added a 2-for-3 effort with a team-high three RBIs.
