Chelsea defeats Pelham in shootout

The Chelsea Lady Hornets defeated Pelham 2-1 in a shootout March 5.

Both teams battled to a 1-1 tie at the end of regulation. The teams played through two scoreless over-time periods to force the game into a shoot-out.

Chelsea prevailed in the shootout 2-0 with Chelsea’s keeper, freshman Asia Bradford, recording two saves. Freshman Megan Young scored in regulation for Chelsea with an assist from Britne Holderby.
