Montevallo’s Upton pitches no-hitter in win over Vincent

Montevallo’s Destiny Upton pitched a no-hitter in the Lady Bulldogs’ 3-0 victory over Vincent March 7.

Upton finished with 14 strikeouts and allowed only one walk in the victory.

Montevallo scored all three runs in the bottom of the first to take the 3-0 win.

Erin Draper had the only RBI for Montevallo while batting 0-for-2.

Makalla Odom was the only Vincent batter to reach base.
