Vincent finishes Calera tourney winless

The Vincent Yellow Jackets softball team finished the Calera Invitational tournament winless March 8-9.
The Yellow Jackets (0-7) fell to Chilton County (6-1) and John Carroll (4-0) on the first day of the tournament.
Jameia White scored the only run for Vincent against Chilton County while Ashlynn Melton and Brooke Denson each batted 1-for-2.
John Carroll held Vincent without a hit.
Vincent dropped games to Calera (4-2) and Marbury (13-0) on March 9.
Destanie Howard, Melton, Denson and Brooklyn Jones each had hits for Vincent against Calera.
Ashley Taylor had the only hit for Vincent in the loss to Marbury.
