Hornets drop two games at Hillcrest

The Chelsea Hornets baseball team fell to Hillcrest and Thompson March 9.

The Hornets began the day with a 2-0 loss to Hillcrest. Hunter Kennedy led Chelsea bating 2-for-3 while Tripp Hobbs finished 1-for-3. Landon Wiley took the loss allowing two runs on six hits with four strikeouts and walk.

Chelsea fell to Thompson in its second game of the day 8-0. Davis Shoemaker led Chelsea batting 2-for-3 with a triple. Keelan Gregg added a 1-for-3 effort with a triple. Gregg took the loss allowing seven runs on nine hits with three strikeouts and two walks.
