Myra Jeanette Bass, age 72, of Oneonta, died March 19, 2013, at her residence. She was born July 13, 1940, to the late James Allen Lee and Leland Louise McSpadden Lee of Maylene. She was a homemaker.

Visitation was held at Lemley Funeral Home on March 20 from 6-8 p.m. and will resume on March 21 from 8 a.m. until service time. Funeral will be held in Lemley Chapel on March 21 at 11 a.m. with Bro. Sammy Blakely officiating. Interment will occur in Macedonia Cemetery, Pearidge.

She is preceded in death by parents, Allen and Louise McSpadden Lee; son, Reginald Bass; brothers, Aubrey and Joe Wayne Lee; and sister, Delores Lee.

She is survived by husband, Gerald Franklin Bass of Sugarland Lake; sons, Jeff Bass of Trussville and Kerry Bass of Sugarland Lake; daughter, Deana Battles of Oneonta; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, Edward, Bobby, Delano, Alwyn and Michael Lee; and sisters, Aliene Ledford and Eleanor Hatcher.

Pallbearers are Charles Hatcher, Steven Lee, Chris Lee, Anthony Lee, Jeremy Gossett and Tyler Hatcher.
