John Kramer, age 53, born Nov. 12, 1959, passed away on March 22, 2013, at his home in Alabaster of a heart attack.

John was a big family man. He had family members located across the country. He worked to keep everyone updated and connected to one another. John was especially devoted to his son, Matthew, and was lovingly attentive to his mother, Rose. He loved sports, especially University of Alabama and Washington Redskin football, as well as Atlanta Braves baseball. John had many friends and enjoyed keeping in touch with them through Facebook. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his father, Ralph Edward Kramer Sr.; and sister, Rose Ann Emery.

John is survived by his mother, Rose Kramer; son, Matthew Kramer; brothers, Butch Kramer (Judy) and James Kramer (Lynette); sisters, Peggy Grimes (John), Karen Kramer and Darlene Kramer; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on March 29 at 11 a.m. at Cedar Grove Cemetery with Bro. Mike Worthy officiating.
