Tuscaloosa County rallies past Spain Park

The Spain Park Jaguars were unable to hold off a six-inning rally by Tuscaloosa County in an 8-6 loss March 25 at the 2013 Baptist Health System Hoover Bucs Spring Break Classic.

Spain Park scored four runs in the top of the sixth to take a 6-3 lead, but Tuscaloosa County responded with five runs in the bottom half of the inning to take the lead.

Mason Duke took the loss for the Jaguars pitching five innings and allowing two earned runs on seven hits with two strikeouts and three walks.

Grant Veteto led Spain Park with a 2-for-3 effort with two RBIs. Josh Close added a 2-for-4 performance with a RBI and two runs scored. Austin Haight finished 1-for-3 with a double.
